Setting up an FTP/SFTP server for delivery of exported feeds

Once you have designed a database, an import, and planned the hourly and daily schedule, in which the system will have to carry out the process of:

  • import file;

  • database feeding;

  • application of general project rules;

  • application of the rules of the individual CSV/TXT/JSON/XML output channels.

The system will produce output that you can distribute across multiple methods.

 

How to set up an FTP / SFTP export.

In the chosen project, click on Export


In the next screen, where all the export channels configured by you will be shown, select the "Feed" item for the channel for which you want to activate an FTP/SFTP export.

 


Opening the next panel will allow you to specify the export mode in FTP / SFTP



In order to configure a valid export to an external server, be it FTP or SFTP, it will be essential to have:

  1. host (server address name);

  2. username;

  3. password.​

If you don't already have an FTP server. you can purchase it from any hosting and domain provider.


At what time will the upload from Connecteed be performed on the FTP server I configured?

The upload time on the server will be the one immediately following the production of the export file with the rules applied.
